I can’t tell you how excited I am to finally share this with you! This festive season, for the very first time, we are launching the Sand Dollar Dubai Luxury Advent Calendar - and it’s truly one of the most special projects I’ve ever worked on.

Sand Dollar was born and bred in the UAE, and this country has shaped who I am - both as a business owner and as a mum raising my family here. It felt only right that our first-ever advent calendar should reflect those roots, not only in spirit but also in its design.
The artwork draws inspiration from the UAE and was lovingly created by my sister, Emily Hickey (who runs Freddy and The Rat). Keeping this project within the family makes it even more meaningful - it’s a true labour of love, from the design to the details, and a reflection of where our story began.
What Makes It Different?
I didn’t want this to be “just another beauty advent calendar.” For me, it had to capture what Sand Dollar stands for - a mix of wellness, lifestyle, and resort-inspired treasures that feel indulgent, timeless, and unique.
Inside the 24 doors, you’ll find:

We’ve created just 120 calendars. Each one holds products worth AED 5,000 but will retail for AED 2,880 (including VAT). Once they’re gone, they’re gone - and I know they’ll sell out quickly.
